About Rockford Country Club
Rockford Country Club's 18-hole course sits along the Rock River in Rockford, Illinois, and dates to 1899 — only six years after the first golf course was established in the United States. The traditional, old-school layout follows the natural terrain, with scenery that shifts through the seasons and multiple sets of tees that let the course play as a gentle walk from the forward markers or a stiffer test from the back.
The club caters to golfers of all ages and abilities, with PGA teaching professionals on staff and an ongoing calendar of events and programs for men, women, couples and juniors. Practice facilities are available on site, and the club also runs a caddie program.
