Quail Creek Country Club & Resort offers golf in Robinson, Illinois, on a course designed to suit a range of skill levels. Fairways are guarded by water hazards and sand traps, placing a premium on accuracy, while the surroundings provide a scenic setting for a round.
The club traces its roots to the former Crawford County Country Club, which closed in early 1962 before being reopened the following day under Richard J. Heath. As president and later chairman, Heath led an 11-year program of facility and membership expansion.

Heath also founded the Robinson Open Golf Tournament in 1962, beginning with $2,000 in prize money and growing to $10,000 by 1967. In 1968 the Professional Golfers' Association added the event to the official PGA Tour with a $25,000 purse, and over the next five years the tournament drew many of North America's leading professionals, reaching $125,000 in prize money in 1973.
