About The Oaks At River's Edge
The Oaks at River's Edge is an 18-hole course in Pontiac, Illinois, open to members and non-members alike. A pro shop on site carries golf equipment and supplies, and staff assist with arrangements for outings and events.
The course traces its origins to the Pontiac Golf and Country Club, which opened as a nine-hole layout in late May of 1921. In 1946 the club was purchased by the Elks, who operated the course and supported the surrounding community through charitable giving and fundraising during their tenure as owners.
