About Park Ridge Country Club
Park Ridge Country Club traces its origins to 1906, when a group of local businessmen and physicians in Park Ridge set out to expand their shared interest in sport and social life into a formal club. The name first appeared on a sign above a set of five tennis courts along Northwest Highway.
The club was organized with the stated aim of promoting the social and physical well-being of its members and encouraging athletic pursuits, with the intent of acquiring a clubhouse, tennis courts, golf links and other suitable grounds.
