About Shagbark Golf & Country Club
Shagbark Golf & Country Club traces its origins to 1925, when it opened as Spring Creek golf course. In 1978 Louis Razzano bought the course from Joe Holms of Piper City, beginning more than four decades of Razzano family ownership.
Bob and Virginia Sonne managed the property from 1980 until early 1990, when Louis Razzano's granddaughter Patti and her husband Duane Luehrsen took charge of daily operations, a role they continue to hold. A. William Razzano assumed ownership in 1994, keeping the course in family hands.
