About Olympia Fields Country Club

Olympia Fields Country Club is a private club in Olympia Fields, Illinois, founded in 1915 during golf's Golden Age, when prominent industrialists worked with architects such as Donald Ross, A.W. Tillinghast, Alister MacKenzie, Willie Park and Tom Bendelow to build courses on expansive natural terrain.

By 1925 the club had grown to four 18-hole courses and a clubhouse that was then the largest private clubhouse in the world, crowned by an 80-foot clock tower with four faces, visible from each of the four first tees. That history places Olympia Fields among the clubs of the same era as Baltusrol, Winged Foot, Oakland Hills and Medinah.
