About Big Run Golf Club
Big Run Golf Club dates to 1930 and was designed by C.H. Muelenford and Sam Snead. The 18-hole layout winds through hundreds of tall oaks, some of them centuries old, and is heavily bunkered throughout.
Water is a significant factor: five lakes and Long Run Creek come into play on eight of the eighteen holes, placing a premium on shot-making. The course has been reshaped over the years, both to keep pace with the modern game and to make fuller use of the scenic, rolling property.
