Crane's Landing Golf Club, part of the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort, is a par-70 course designed in 1975 by architect George Fazio. The layout covers roughly 110 acres of wooded terrain in Lincolnshire, with views of the adjacent Des Plaines River.
Mature trees frame the fairways, and elevated greens ringed by bunkers place a premium on accuracy. The opening seven holes play relatively short before the course turns into more of a shot-making test, with the river figuring into a demanding closing stretch. Several long dogleg par 4s are bordered by water, while the par 3s at the 9th, 12th and 16th call for progressively longer forced carries.
