Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont is a public course designed by Pete Dye and his son P.B. Dye. The par-72 championship layout measures 6,898 yards and was routed across former farmland, with sculpted fairways, pronounced bunkering and large stretches of natural wetland. Mature trees frame the greens, while 114 bunkers and extensive water come into play throughout the round.
The round opens with a 100-yard carry over water to a blind fairway, setting the tone for the Dye family's characteristic shaping: elevated tees, doglegs and railroad ties. The signature hole is the 155-yard par-3 11th, played to a peninsula green ringed by water. Other notable tests include the split-fairway par-5 6th and the short, risk-reward par-4 16th.
