About Highland Woods Golf Course
Highland Woods sits on the highest point in Cook County and serves as the northwest suburban course in the Forest Preserve Golf group.
The 18-hole layout plays through rolling terrain with tree-lined, generously wide fairways, though 52 bunkers are placed throughout to add difficulty. Water affects six holes, and three sets of tees accommodate a range of playing abilities.
Practice facilities include a lighted driving range with 48 hitting stalls, and a PGA professional is on staff.
