About Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club
Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in Hoffman Estates dates back more than three decades, and in 2011 the layout went through a major redesign. Fifteen holes were reworked during the project, while several of the original holes were left as they were. Multiple sets of tees were added, giving stronger players additional length and newer golfers shorter options.
The renovation also changed the routing: the course's former opening hole now plays as the 10th. Fairways and bunkers were reconfigured, fescue was planted to add depth and definition, and new lakes were introduced as hazards, adding strategic decisions throughout the round.
