About Skokie Country Club
Skokie Country Club is a private family-oriented recreational and social club on Chicago's North Shore, established in 1897. Generations of member families have gathered there for celebrations, holidays and everyday social occasions.
The golf course reflects the work of several Golden Age architects, an unusual layering among American classical designs: Herbert Tweedie laid out the original course in 1898, followed by revisions from Tom Bendelow in 1901, Donald Ross in 1915, and William Langford and Theodore Moreau in 1938. Ron Prichard restored the course to its classical character in 1999-2000, and Brian Schneider of Renaissance Golf Design rebuilt the bunkering and green complexes in 2022.

Beyond golf, the club grounds include a swimming pool, paddle tennis courts, a pickleball facility and upper and lower tennis courts. The clubhouse, designed by Arthur Coffin, serves as the club's social centre.
