Park Hills Golf Course in Freeport has been part of the northwestern Illinois golf scene for decades, offering two 18-hole courses laid out across roughly 300 acres of rolling hillsides. The East and West courses were both designed by C.D. Wagstaff in 1955, the architect also responsible for the Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Club in nearby Rockford.
The West Course plays 6,627 yards to a par of 72, with a course rating of 71.9 and a slope of 128. Together, the two layouts give golfers of varying skill levels a range of options in one location.
