Oak Brook Golf Club is a semi-private, parkland-style course open to the public, set in Chicago's western suburbs. Opened in 1980, it was designed by Roger Packard and Dennis Wise.
The layout plays to a par of 72 and stretches to 6,541 yards from the back of four tee sets. Water comes into play across the property, and the course mixes wide-open holes with tighter, tree-lined corridors, along with maintained bunkering and smooth, undulating greens that tend to run quick. The back nine is the sterner half, and the closing stretch includes a demanding 214-yard par-3 17th played over water.
Annual golf and driving range memberships are available, and the club hosts charitable outings as well as corporate and junior tournaments through the year. A restaurant serves golfers on site.
