Orchard Valley Golf Course
About Orchard Valley Golf Course
Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora is operated by the local park district. Its infrastructure dates back roughly three decades, and beginning in November 2024 the course entered an extensive renovation and repair program.
The work covers bunkers that are being rebuilt, realigned and in some cases relocated, along with a new irrigation system and new retaining walls on the 2nd and 17th holes. Greens are being refreshed and several enlarged, while tee boxes are being expanded and resurfaced. Tees, fairways and greens are being re-grassed with newer, more disease-resistant seed varieties, select cart paths are being realigned and reconstructed, and additional fairway is being created on the 13th hole through a partial wetland fill-in. The project is funded through bond proceeds and the district's existing capital development fund.
