Cloverleaf Golf Course in Alton, Illinois, has been in operation since 1931 and is the oldest 18-hole, family-owned and family-operated golf course in the country. Its par-70 layout presents a test for golfers across skill levels, from newcomers to experienced players.
Much of the course's character comes from its history. The clubhouse occupies a rustic dairy barn, and stories from the course's past are displayed on its walls.
Cloverleaf is open to public play and also hosts nightly leagues as well as tournaments and corporate outings.
