About Hayden Lake Country Club
Hayden Lake Country Club is a private club set on the shores of Hayden Lake in northern Idaho. Its 18-hole golf course was completed in 1912 and was the first 18-hole layout in the state. Practice facilities include a three-hole short course along with driving and chipping areas.
Beyond golf, the club grounds hold pickleball and tennis courts, a private marina and swimming dock, eight hotel rooms and six cabanas. The main clubhouse offers dining, while the Red House serves as a casual clubhouse with two golf simulators. The Cutter Bar, opened in 2024 on the clubhouse's north side, looks out over the lake.

The site was once a gathering place for the Coeur d'Alene tribe and later the location of the Bozanta Tavern, a lakeside resort designed in 1907 by Northwest architect Kirtland Cutter, with grounds planned by landscape architect J.C. Olmsted. The property took its current name after a 1927 change in ownership.
