Mirror Lake Golf Course is a nine-hole layout about a mile south of Bonners Ferry, playable for beginners while still presenting a test for lower handicaps. Two sets of tees allow for an 18-hole round, with a mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s and views of the Selkirk Mountains and the Kootenai Valley.
Water comes into play on both par 3s and on three of the par 4s. Par is 72 from either set of tees. The back tees measure 6,001 yards with a course rating of 68.4 and a slope of 117 for men; the forward tees measure 5,256 yards with a rating of 70.8 and a slope of 123 for women. The greens are known for running smooth and quick.
