Perry Golf & Country Club

Perry Golf & Country Club traces its roots to the early days of the town, when a number of residents who had taken up golf elsewhere introduced the game to friends and neighbors locally. With no means at the time to build a clubhouse or properly groomed links, play began on a suitable meadow just south of town, used by arrangement with its owner, W.W. Phillips. The ground was made available without rent for a number of years, and on fine afternoons players of all ages, both men and women, could be found chasing the ball up and down the hills.

The club hosts ladies' and men's leagues, during which the course is reserved for league players.
