About Bos Landen Golf Course
Bos Landen is an 18-hole public championship course in Pella, Iowa, roughly 40 miles from Des Moines. It was designed by architect Dick Phelps and laid out across 190 heavily wooded acres, a setting reflected in its name, which comes from the Dutch for "land of the woods."
Each hole offers five sets of tees, stretching the course from about 5,100 to 7,000 yards to suit a range of abilities. The routing moves through the timber and calls for a variety of shots, with wooded scenery throughout.
