About Pine Creek Golf Club
Pine Creek Golf Club in Mason City has been under new ownership since April 2021, when father-and-son team Tom and J.T. Haugen purchased the roughly 60-year-old course and began a program of improvements to the grounds and facilities.
Tom Haugen brings a background as a golf course architect, builder and owner, with design and construction work across Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as a 45-hole project at a resort on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. A native of nearby Forest City, he also returned to his hometown earlier in his career to redesign the back nine at Bear Creek Golf Course.

The clubhouse has been fully remodeled and the food and beverage offerings expanded to accommodate groups of varying sizes. An outdoor patio overlooks the course for post-round dining, while the indoor bar and seating area provides a spot to review scorecards or watch a game or tournament on television.
