About American legion Golf Course & Lounge
American Legion Memorial Golf Course in Marshalltown is a parkland-style layout that suits a range of skill levels while still offering a test for lower handicap players. Tee shots are met with generous landing areas, and approaches play openly from the fairway, though shots from the rough can be trickier.
The greens are the defining feature of the course: large, mostly ringed by light rough with few bunkers, and capable of producing demanding putts from the wrong section of the surface. Three sets of tees are in play, with a fourth under development.
