Wahkonsa Country Club
About Wahkonsa Country Club
Wahkonsa Country Club is a nine-hole club with a championship-length layout, a driving range and a dedicated putting green. Five sets of tees accommodate a range of skill levels. The course features tree-lined fairways and oversized, undulating bentgrass greens, with wide views of the surrounding countryside. The ninth plays as the finishing hole alongside a pond and fountain.
The rural setting includes wildflowers, maintained trees and flower plantings tended by members. Located between Durant and Wilton on Highway 927, the club serves as the home course for the Durant high school golf program and the Wilton boys and girls golf teams. Generations of families have belonged to the club over the course of its history. The clubhouse offers food and beverages in a casual atmosphere.
