About A.H. Blank Golf Course
A.H. Blank Golf Course opened in 1971 as a nine-hole layout in Des Moines. In 1985 it was expanded to a full 18-hole regulation course, adding new playing challenges while making more of the property's natural surroundings.
The design is intended to accommodate golfers across a range of skill levels, with a relaxed atmosphere for both newer players and more experienced ones. The course also takes part in Tee It Forward, a joint program of the USGA and The PGA of America that encourages players to choose a set of tees matched to their driving distance.
