Waikele Country Club

Waikele Country Club in Waipahu offers views out toward Diamond Head from parts of the course, with the scenery visible even from the tee boxes.

The layout places a premium on positioning off the tee. Fairway bunkers pinch the landing areas on some holes, and angles into the greens reward drives placed on the correct side; straying too far one way can block the view of the putting surface. Sloping fairways, including one that falls from right to left, can push longer drives into awkward lies. Several greens are difficult to recover around, particularly from long or left, making the approach shot the key stroke on a number of holes.
