About Olomana Golf Links
Olomana Golf Links is an 18-hole course in Waimanalo, on the windward side of O'ahu, set against views of the Ko'olau mountain range. The layout is managed with environmentally friendly practices and has an unpretentious, country feel.
The course has drawn some notable players over the years, including Barack Obama during his time in Hawai'i and Michelle Wie, who practiced here before turning professional. Practice facilities include a driving range, and there is a beer garden on site.

The name comes from Hawaiian legend, in which the goddess Haumea appointed five guardians — Olomana, Pakui, Ahiki, Makawao and Hauli — to watch over the windward coast of O'ahu from Kaoio Point to Makapu'u Point. Olomana was said to be a giant chief renowned for his strength and towering height, who was eventually defeated by the supernatural warrior Palila of Kaua'i.
