About Mauna Kea Golf Course

Mauna Kea Golf Course opened in 1964 as a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design on the Island of Hawai'i. The layout is known for its ocean views and coastal scenery, and has since been updated by Robert Trent Jones Jr., whose work preserves the original character of his father's course while presenting a test that remains playable for a range of skill levels.

The resort course is also home to the Mauna Kea Resort Pro-Am, a multi-day tournament first played in 1973 and held annually. Teams of three amateurs and one professional compete in a four-ball format.
