Makani Golf Club
About Makani Golf Club
Makani Golf Club sits on the lower slopes of Hualalai above Kailua-Kona, where the elevation brings cooler air and light winds. The par-72 layout was designed by golf architect Perry Dye and plays from five sets of tees, making it manageable for beginners while still presenting a test for stronger players.
The course features wide fairways, with water coming into play on nine of its 18 holes. Its hillside setting opens up views of five major mountains along with panoramic stretches of ocean.
Tee times are arranged in advance, as the course can fill completely, particularly on weekends.
