Country Oaks Golf Course

Country Oaks is a municipal course owned and operated by the City of Thomasville, Georgia, set roughly four miles from the historic town center on Highway 122 (Pavo Road). Its 18 holes play to a par of 72 across 160 acres of wooded terrain dotted with wild azaleas, dogwoods, oaks and magnolias, a quiet setting that gives the layout its name and provides a test for a range of golfers.

The course opened in 1979 as a nine-hole facility built by the city for residents and visitors, with a second nine added a few years later to complete the full 18. A 3,500-square-foot clubhouse was built in 2006. The mild southern climate keeps the course open throughout the year.
