Lookout Mountain Club is a private club formed by the merger of two historic establishments, the Lookout Mountain Golf Club and the Lookout Mountain Fairyland Club. Its facilities span two properties on Lookout Mountain and cover golf, swimming, tennis, pickleball, fitness, dining and private events.
The 18-hole championship course dates to 1925 and was designed by American architect Seth Raynor. Set atop a mountain, it is one of roughly 30 surviving Raynor courses in the United States. A recent restoration directed by architects Tyler Rae and Kyle Franz reworked the greens, bunkers, fairways and rough, returning the land's natural contours in keeping with an initial plan by Gil Hanse, and added a new irrigation system.
The clubhouse offers dining along with access to the pools, tennis and pickleball courts and a fitness center with classes, personal training and childcare.
