About Francis Lake Golf Club
Francis Lake Golf Club in Lake Park, Georgia, began as a family farm and took shape as a nine-hole golf course in the mid-1960s. Over the decades it expanded into the 18-hole layout played today, set among scenic surroundings.
The club has been owned and operated by the Leonard family since 1997. With several PGA professionals in the family, father and son Jon and JR Leonard worked together to build up the club and its golfing community. JR and his wife Allison continue to run Francis Lake today, carrying on Jon Sr.'s legacy.
