About Chestatee Golf Club

Chestatee Golf Club sits in the north Georgia foothills near Dawsonville, where each hole has been routed to work with the mountainous terrain while preserving the surrounding natural landscape.

The opening hole, a dogleg-right par 5, plays from an elevated tee to a generous landing area, leaving the decision of whether to reach the green in two. The par-3 17th, the course's signature hole, looks out over the Chestatee River as it flows toward Lake Lanier, while the par-4 8th is regarded as one of the more demanding two-shot holes in the state.

Five sets of tees allow the layout to test accomplished players while remaining playable for golfers of varying abilities.
