About The Manor Golf & Country Club
The golf course at The Manor Golf & Country Club was designed by Tom Watson, the eight-time major champion and World Golf Hall of Fame member. It is his only design in Georgia and one of just 16 worldwide, making it an unusual find for golfers in the Alpharetta area. The layout is built to give players of varying abilities both a test and an enjoyable round.
The course opens with a generously wide fairway that leaves room to miss to the right, followed by an uphill approach to the green where an extra club often comes into play. A short par 4 elsewhere on the card rewards an accurate tee shot with a mid- to short-iron approach into a well-guarded green.
