Wentworth Golf Club is a championship layout designed by Steve Smyers and opened in 1990. The course routes through natural, rolling terrain where wildlife is a regular sight, and the front nine plays as a secluded stretch framed by moss-draped oaks and gently undulating fairways, with no housing along the holes.
Water becomes a factor on the back nine, where several tee shots call for both length and accuracy. The course measures about 6,500 yards from the back tees, though narrow fairways make it play longer than the yardage suggests.
An English manor–style clubhouse anchors the property and gives the club a private-club atmosphere. Wentworth is open to the public and accommodates golfers across a range of skill levels.
