About Legacy Golf Club
Legacy Golf Club takes its name from "Chip," the son of Lela and Charles Hilton, who began playing at age nine, competed on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticed under golf professional Kenny Lind, and went on to a career as a teaching professional, using the game to pass along lessons in patience, perseverance and recovering from setbacks.
The course dates to 1965 and plays as a championship layout with wide fairways and demanding greens that reward a sharp short game. Lakes and white sand bunkers protect the elevated putting surfaces, and three sets of tees allow the course to be played at a range of lengths. The design is testing without being punishing, calling for a variety of clubs over the round.

Practice facilities include a lighted driving range, a chipping green and a large putting green. An executive course and a bar and grille round out the property.
