About Grasslands Golf & Country Club

Grasslands Golf & Country Club opened in 1991 with a course designed by Jerry Pate and Bob Cupp. The layout was restored in 2008 by the Jerry Pate Design Group, and again between 2024 and 2026 under architect Ron Garl, work that brought USGA-standard green complexes, rebuilt sand bunkers, and new irrigation and drainage.

The club has a long association with tournament golf, serving as a host site for first-stage qualifying for the PGA Tour's developmental circuit and previously hosting the Lakeland Classic and the NFPGA Tour & Club Professional Invitational. In March 2026 it staged the inaugural Orlando Health Championship on the Epson Tour.

Alongside the clubhouse, a separate Swim & Tennis Club offers a junior Olympic-size pool, a children's pool, locker rooms and the Deckside Cafe, plus five har-tru courts, two hard courts and two pickleball courts, all lighted for night play.
