About Mark Bostick Golf Course
Mark Bostick Golf Course occupies the northwest corner of the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, where it has sat for more than 80 years. Donald Ross laid out the original design in the 1920s, though successive changes have given the course a character of its own.
Set on 116 acres, the par-70 layout measures 6,701 yards, short by modern standards. A 2001 renovation by Jacksonville architect Bobby Weed reshaped the contours of the property and added both physical and strategic demands.

Known earlier as the Gainesville Golf and Country Club, the course has served as home to the Florida Gators golf programs since 1962, a period that includes six NCAA titles and 21 Southeastern Conference championships. Players such as Chris DiMarco, Mark Calcavecchia, Andy North, Camilo Villegas and Billy Horschel trained here.
