Cypress Lake Golf Club
About Cypress Lake Golf Club
Cypress Lake Golf Club in Fort Myers has shifted its identity in recent years, repositioning itself from a country club to a golf club within the southwest Florida market and introducing a revised membership program.
A course renovation was completed in the summer of 2017, though damage from Hurricane Irma to the landscaping delayed the reopening. An enhancement program for the course's natural areas has also been carried out.
Practice facilities have been expanded, and architect Ron Forse was retained to plan a new practice complex that includes a dedicated short-game area. Alongside golf, the club offers tennis on Har-Tru clay courts, the last of its hard courts having been converted.
