The Oaks Golf Club

The Oaks Golf Club in Crescent City, Florida, features two distinctly different nines. The front nine plays across wide fairways to medium-sized greens, while the back nine demands greater accuracy from the tee and finishes on larger, contoured putting surfaces. The contrast between the two halves gives the course variety from round to round.

There are no sand bunkers anywhere on the layout. Water and drainage come into play instead, with six ponds and several drainage retention areas scattered through the property.

A set of gold tees was added in 2015. For group play, teams are often drawn at random, though partners and groups can be arranged in advance for relatives and visitors.
