Bartow Golf Course
About Bartow Golf Course
Bartow Golf Course is a traditional layout that began as a nine-hole course in 1919. In December 1926 it reopened as an 18-hole links-style design by Donald Ross. The par-72 course offers four sets of tees ranging from roughly 5,200 to 6,600 yards, with no housing along the holes, and features mature oaks, local wildlife, challenging greens, gentle doglegs and water hazards scattered throughout.
Known locally as the "TOW," the course has hosted the Youth Villa Classic for more than 50 years, raising funds for the Sheriff's Youth Ranch in Bartow, along with numerous other tournaments.
