Stenger's Shamrock Farms is an 18-hole par-3 course in Milton, Delaware, laid out as a par 54 walking course across 23 acres. Holes range from 75 to 152 yards, played from grass tee boxes to bent grass greens. Water comes into play on the short sixth hole, and sand bunkers guard the fifth and thirteenth.
The setting is rural and quiet, away from the beach-area traffic, and the course suits beginners as well as more experienced players looking for a short round or a tune-up.
The land was once a working farm with cows, sheep and hay, and has belonged to the Stenger family since the 1970s. The course grew out of a putting green Bob Stenger built in his backyard as a gift for his father, John; one green became two, then three, and construction continued until the course opened in July 2003.
