Back Creek Golf Club is a public course in Middletown, New Castle County, Delaware, sitting at the base of the Route 896 bridge amid the area's wetlands. Designed by Allen Liddicoat and David Horne, it opened in 1997 with a links-inspired layout of rolling terrain and wide, open fairways that ties into the surrounding landscape. The club is part of the Ron Jaworski Golf network.
The par-71 course plays 6,957 yards from the championship Black tees, rated 73.7 with a slope of 138, and offers five sets of tees down to 5,114 yards from the Red. In keeping with its links character, the design places a premium on ball-striking and course management rather than length, leaving shots exposed to the wind and asking for inventive approaches into well-bunkered greens.
