About Tallwood Country Club LLC
Tallwood Country Club in Hebron, Connecticut, dates to 1970, when Mike Ovian opened the property as a nine-hole course. It was expanded to a full 18 holes in 1974.
The McDermott family bought the club in 1995 and made a series of upgrades intended to prepare the layout for competitive play. Over the years Tallwood has hosted a number of amateur and state tournaments.
Concord Golf Properties acquired the course in 2021. Since then the clubhouse interior has been fully renovated and further improvements have been carried out on the course itself.
