The opening hole is an uphill par 5 whose fairway begins roughly 65 yards ahead of the tee, with trees down both sides and an elevated green guarded by rough in front and a bunker left. Played as the tenth, the tee shifts right beside a tree with a large overhanging limb, and the green holds numerous slopes and subtle breaks.

The second is the course's noted "bell hole," a par 4 with a blind tee shot over a hill; the fairway beyond slopes right toward heavy rough, rocks and trees, with out of bounds left, and the elevated green features a pronounced false front. A bell beside the cart path signals when the group ahead has cleared. The third is a downhill par 4 from an elevated tee, with out of bounds left and trees right, and a green sloped sharply back to front. The twelfth tee, above and left of the third, sits at the highest point on the course.
