About Indian Peaks Golf Course
Indian Peaks Golf Course sits below the Indian Peaks Mountain Range in Lafayette, with views west toward the Continental Divide and its eight summits named for Native American tribes. The course takes its name from that nearby wilderness area.
The 18-hole layout was designed by Hale Irwin, a Hall of Fame player whose career included three U.S. Open titles and two U.S. Senior Open titles. The course opened in 1993 and draws both area residents and visiting golfers.
Six sets of tees stretch from 4,916 to 7,088 yards, giving players of varying ability a starting point suited to their game, whether the aim is a relaxed round or a sterner test.
