About University of Denver Golf Club at Ranch (Highlands Ranch Golf Club)
The University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch is an 18-hole, par-72 semi-private course designed by Hale Irwin, a three-time U.S. Open champion. The layout takes in wide views of the Rocky Mountain Front Range and features large bentgrass greens.
Formerly Highlands Ranch Golf Club, the course was given to the University of Denver in 2012 by the family of Ron Moore, a University of Denver Hall of Famer, with the intent of benefiting students and the surrounding community.
The club serves as the home course for the university's Division I men's and women's varsity golf teams, and is operated as part of the university's recreation and wellness programming for the public.
