About Greeley Country Club
Greeley Country Club is a private club in Greeley, Colorado, dating to 1920, when it opened with a nine-hole course and a small clubhouse laid out by Tom Bendelow. Known as a prolific architect of the era, Bendelow designed hundreds of courses across the country, including work at Medinah Country Club and East Lake at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
As golf grew in popularity through the 1960s, the club engaged Press Maxwell to renovate the layout and add a second nine, creating the 18-hole course in play today. The original clubhouse was demolished in 1962 and replaced with a larger facility.
