About Ptarmigan Country Club
Ptarmigan Country Club is a private club in Fort Collins, Colorado, about an hour north of Denver. Its golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and plays from five sets of tees, giving golfers of varying abilities a choice of yardages.
Beyond the course, the club offers a practice tee and chipping area, along with tennis courts and a swimming pool with a bathhouse.
Ptarmigan was acquired by Heritage Golf Group, an owner and operator of private clubs and public courses across the United States. Each Heritage property hosts an annual Heritage Cares event, with proceeds directed to a local charity chosen by the club and to the Heritage Cares Foundation, which assists employees facing financial hardship.
