Hollydot Golf Club
About Hollydot Golf Club
Hollydot is an 18-hole public golf course in Colorado City, with bentgrass tees and fairways and a spacious Spanish-style clubhouse.
The course traces its name and origins to Holland Duell Jr. ("Holly") and his wife Dorothy ("Dot"), local cattle ranchers whose various ventures included the creation of the golf course. In the fall of 1972, the broader Hollydot Park development opened with the new course alongside a turf club, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor tennis court, together with 235 home sites, four condominium sites and three townhouses.
