About Collegiate Peaks Golf Course
Collegiate Peaks Golf Course traces its origins to 1972, when a handful of families purchased the land simply to have a place to hit golf balls. As one of the original buyers recalled, they mowed the grass and started playing.
The course remains privately owned, but it has changed considerably since those early days. What began as a mown hay field has developed into maintained greens, and the lambing shed with a cooler of beer has given way to a stocked clubhouse.

Ongoing work focuses on playing conditions and amenities, including a driving range and a fire pit sheltered by its own canopy. The course's stated mission is to provide quality outdoor recreation for friends and family and to encourage a love of the game.
